2022-2023 Communities of Practice Archive
What is a Community of Practice?
A community of practice (CoP) is a discussion group based around a common topic. In these groups, participants talk about new learnings and ideas and share them with one another.
Our AEDY communities of practice will focus on grab-and-go strategies that can be used in any classroom and particularly those that benefit students with behavioral difficulties.
Do I have to attend every meeting?
Each month, a CoP meeting will be held on the same Wednesday in the morning and again in the afternoon. Attend whichever time is best for your schedule! If you miss a meeting, you are welcome to return at any time.

Tip: It's a good idea to take some notes while viewing each video so you can remember your thoughts when for the CoP discussion. Consider the following:
What about this practice resonates with me?
Is this something I could try applying in the next week?
Do I need coworker or administrator support to try this practice?
What questions does this video bring up for me?
