Participants in the interview include, but are not limited to, AEDY Program administration, special education teacher, ESL certified teacher, counselor, support staff, and representatives from all sending LEAs, the PaTTAN/PDE AEDY Team. Attendance is taken at the beginning of the interview.

The construct of this interview is based on the review of all the information we previously discussed in this training. The chairperson drafts the interview based on the need for further clarification or to highlight a promising practice within the program. The outline is directly aligned with the sections of the FSA, including relevant pieces of feedback from the stakeholders interviewed.

The entire interview typically lasts for about one hour. The responses to the questions posed give the chairperson further insight on whether or not the AEDY program is operating within compliance expectations. The AEDY Program will have the opportunity to make any changes or additions to the FSA sections through the end of the week of monitoring.
